Bestor Cram and Michael Streissguth, Co-Directors

Bestor Cram has directed landmark documentary films about the Vietnam War, civil rights, and prison reform, including the acclaimed PBS documentary Birth of A Movement. Michael Streissguth’s 25th anniversary coverage of the CBS/China story for The Washington Post inspired this film. He has directed documentary films and written numerous books, including City on the Edge: Hard Choices in the American Rust Belt. Cram and Streissguth last collaborated on the award-winning film Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison.
